The incident took place when the accused persons were being escorted out after the hearing at the court of the chief metropolitan magistrate. However, the prosecution lawyers managed to melt in the crowd before the relatives of the accused persons or police could apprehend him.

JOY WAJED APPLIES FOR US CITIZENSHIP

Close sources to Joy sajeeb wajed indicated to me that Joy has applied for US citizenship. He was a green card holder for the past 4 and half years and is eligible for citizenship. One of the reason for this is to seek immunity from the corruption cases he has been implicated in Bangladesh. As a U.S citizen he can fight extradition. His close friends also indicated to me that as a US citizen he can also rally US congressman and senators. Only as a citizen he can pledge campaign contribution to US politicians and gain influence.

This is a travesty especially from someone who is the Golden boy of Awami League politics. Another friend of Sajeed who works in annandale Virginia and attended joys wedding told me that joy is working endlessly behind the scene to discredit the caretaker government. He also indicated to me he is disappointed at him because of his lack of knowledge of Bangladesh politics. He also told me joy is interested in manicure and pedicure and spends a lot of time in a spa. more to come ...........

FATHER OF THE NATION OR NATIONAL TRAITOR

Much have been said about the so called father of the nation of Bangladesh. Sheik Mujibur Rahman who was Bangladesh leader from 1972 til 1975. It is only referred to a such by his political party Awami League.

Many people dont know or tend to black out the periods of 1972 to 1975 as if it is insignificant in Bangladesh history. But those four years laid the foundation of what Bangladesh is today.

Yes he has fought for right of Bangladeshis but he was not the only one. Yes he made some great speeches so did Fidel Castro. Yes he was so called popular with the people as much as Saddam Husseins elections.

Having inherited a was ravaged country with many heroes giving their life for the liberation. He first self appointed himself as the leader of Bangladesh. Though he can give great speeches his running of a country was inept and impotent. This is where his true colors came out. He first cleansed all professional administrators deeming them as collaborator in reality they were not loyal to the Awami League. He replaced them with his own cronies. Majority of them half educated, corrupt, anti- democratic and nepotist. In fact Bangladesh became a mujib family business. The new nation was divided into mini fiefdom among the awami league leadership. They used intimidation corruption, extortion and special fees for contracts. They said "well you want to set up a business then how much gift money are you gonna give me".

On of the criminal acts was Mujib looked the other way while his party members diverted food aid , withholding them from the market resulting in the price to go up and then turning around to sell it in the Black market. This caused a famine in Bangladesh between 1974 to 1975 resulting in deaths of a million people. IS THIS THE ACTS OF A FATHER OF A NATION, THIS IS THE ACT OF A CRIMINAL .

Political opponent including his leftist rival spoke up. Mujib used brutal repression and his rakkhi bahini private eliminated these opponent in gruesome manner. Torture and disappearance became rampant.

For a Man who fought for democracy during pre-1971 became what the pakistan army were but even worse because he used the people goodwill against them . cont.........
